In Isaiah 9:6 Isaiah prophesied and said,

 

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this."

 

I want you to notice that in this prophecy, God said that the government will be upon Jesus shoulders. Paul said in Eph. 5:23,

 

"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body."

 

And in 1 Cor. 12:27,

 

"Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually."

 

If you look at this in the natural it doesn't make any since. However, the Bible is a spiritual book and the natural man can not understand the deeper things of the Spirit of God. Jesus is the head of the Spiritual Body of the Church. What I want you to see is that the government of God rest on the shoulders of the Church.

 

Not everyone is in the shoulders of the spiritual body of Christ. You may be an arm or a leg or a toe. But Paul points out in, 1 Cor. 12, that every part of the body of Christ is necessary for it to function properly. Not everyone is called to be a prophet, or an evangelist, or a teacher, or an apostle, however, it takes all of us to function as the body of Christ.

 

The apostles, prophets, evangelist, teachers function on this earth as the leaders of the body of Christ. They go before the Lord who is the head of this body and seek His will and His instructions for the Church. Paul said in 1 Cor. 12:27-31,

 

"And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the best gifts."

 

Also, in Eph. 4:11-16 Paul again said,

 

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head"Christ"from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."

 

I think that you would have to agree with me that the body of Christ at this time is not in the unity of the faith. Unfortunately, there are many churches that don't recognize their brethren that they don't see eye to eye with. However, there are millions of Christians that are standing up today and laying aside their differences, and praying for the deliverance of our nation. We now have Christians in our government that most are unaware of. For example, did you know that our former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo is a very active Christian and not afraid to share his faith. Our former Vice President, Mike Pence is a very devoted Christian and President Donald Trump has accepted the Lord and still has the anointing of the Lord upon Him.

 

When the world grows the darkest it just makes Christians stand out even more because we are the light of the world, a city set on a high hill that cannot be hid! I bring you good news today from our Father in heaven, He is not through with our nation and He is not through with Donald Trump. The best is yet to come and soon Satan will be crushed beneath our feet.

 

Listen to Psalm 115:16,

 

"The heaven, even the heavens, (where Satan is the prince of the air) are the Lord's; But the earth He has given to the children of men."

 

I want to share with you a word from the Lord through Pastor Kent Christmas,

 

The Lord says that the corona virus was so out of His will. The Lord said that the corona virus was created out of the labs in Wuhan, China and it became contagious and effected so many people and took so many lives. God said, "Today, I loose a spiritual virus of the anointed of God. The Lord said, "I am going to kill that corona virus that is in the earth because it is not the time for it!"

 

He said, "There is a virus coming but it will not come until the Church leaves the earth." The Lord says, "I make a commitment to you today that the last harvest is going to be in freedom and not in lockdown!' So, now God says to you today, 'Just as the devil has intended to infect humanity and kill them and take their lives, I this day loose an anointing on my people so that when anyone gets around you, they are going to get infected with the anointing of the Holy Ghost!"

 

And God says, "That wherever you go, as people walk past you there are going to be unusual things happening by the power of the Holy Ghost!" "The devil took lives in the natural, I am going to take lives in the Spirit and add them to the Kingdom of God!

 

From this moment on, saith God, "There is a Holy Ghost anointing infection that has been loosed today from heaven upon my people. This infection of My Holy Spirit is going into Australia, it is going into Japan, it is going into Indonesia, it is going into France, it is going into India, it is going into Africa, it is going into Europe!" The Lord says, "Even as the corona virus touched every nation, so now I counteract it with another virus of the anointing of the Holy Ghost and you will see it now began to touch the nations of this world!"

 

I have experience this in my life in small measures. I have had people come up to me and ask me what is different about you? It has affected my ministry, my business, and the church I pastored. The anointing of the Holy Spirit radiates from those who are committed to the Lord. But this anointing that is being release by the Lord is far greater than anything that has been seen before.

 

May I encourage you to study the word of the Lord. Don't just read it and then go on with your life, but do what the Lord is saying and by faith begin to demonstrate the effects of the word in your life. Jesus said in Matt. 5:16,

 

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

John said in John 1:9,

 

"That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world."

 

Jesus said in John 8:12,

 

"I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

 

When we fill our minds with the word of God, we become the light of life because every word that comes from our mouth is what has been stored in our hearts.

 

One of the most difficult things for us to do when we study the word of God is to lay aside our preconceived and taught understandings and listen to what the Lord is saying. If you study the Bible to prove you are right in what you understand the word is saying, it will be hard for you to accept the truth if it disagrees with your understanding.

 

That is why Jesus said in Luke 8:18, (NKJV)

 

"Therefore, take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him."

 

Also, He said in Luke 11:15, (NKJV)

 

"He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

 

If you have been born again, you have a spiritual ear to hear what the Lord is saying! The problem we have is what has been ingrafted into our minds by false teaching. Our personal warfare is within between our spirit and our mind. Do you have a teachable mind? Paul said in Rom. 12:2,

 

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

 

We need to be like the Bereans in Acts 17:11,

 

"These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so."

 

There is so much happening in our nation at this time and we as Christians have been given an opportunity to stand up for what the Word says and establish the Kingdom of God in our nation!
